I’ve been receiving at least one alert or more per day steadily for weeks, but April 3rd was my last alert. I didn’t change any settings or try any funny stuff. It just stopped working.

I received a Google Alert early his morning, so i think they’re still working, at least in some fashion.

I’ve set up alerts for both mine and my girlfriends names, to see who’s talking about us out there!

Well, I had to assume that it wasn’t broken for everyone as it would have been all over digg and such. It turns out my google alerts were going to the spam folder – in GMAIL! That seems very odd to me, but I’m sure I must have accidentally marked one as spam, and then the rest followed. I didn’t check my spam folder, because a little voice was telling “it’s Google Alerts in your Gmail – there’s no way it’s gonna be in there”

Some good did come of this… I signed up for a Swamii account which is similar to Google Alerts. I like the service because it picks up some things that google alerts doesn’t. It could be better, but for a free service, it’s pretty sweet.

@Swamii – Thanks for checking in. By taking the time to post here, you must be very dedicated and willing to listen to user feedback – that’s awesome.

I was thinking that I’d like to have some way of saving/recalling the sites I liked, or tracking the links I actually click… but perhaps that is not the point.

I think your service is quite good (better than goolge alerts maybe?). I like using it, and it’s a great alternative and/or companion to Google Alerts. Keep up the good work, and thank you for an awesome free service!
