My recommendation to the W3C – Centralized Web Fonts
I throw out an idea for a centralized place for web-based fonts.

Identifying respected authorities in any field can help in sifting through the info overload.

I’ve recently taken up the task of trying to breath life back into the Sacramento Web Design Meetup, which had all but died on the vine. I found dozens of local web design companies on the search engines [...]
Probably no surprise that I found this site’s design appealing.
Note – At some point in 2008, I stopped using this approach. I think if your CSS file is logically organized, then there is no need to waste time dinking around with indenting to show parent/child relationships. -Andy
Smashing Magazine just put together a nice list of css tips
It’s loaded with some really clever tricks and [...]
Freelance Switch is a fairly new blog about design freelancing. I’ve been enjoying their articles and the ensuing discussions. I had meant to mention them last week, but it was their Monster List of Freelancing Job Sites post that reminded me to post about them. They seem to have a knack for linkbait. I [...]
I’ve set up google alerts for things like “html”, “css”, “aloe studios” (so vain!), and a few others. It’s a handy way to comb through daily info (outside of the rss reader) without having to manually check four million two hundred and thirty seven thousand nine hundred and sixteen blogs.

These are sites that I didn’t submit to, so I’m stoked about that. I’m not getting great ratings (5/10, 3/5, etc), but I am getting some traffic.
mostinspired.com
cssmania.com
screenalicio.us
CORRECTION: Thanks to GaBuBu, who pointed out that I submitted to CSS Mania which is absolutely true. The other 2 were not from my submissions as I’m only [...]
I’ll be the first to admit that I submitted Aloe to these sites myself, but it’s cool to see my new site in these showcase galleries. CSS Based gave me a 7 out of 10, which I really can’t disagree with – my humble little site looks a bit plain next to all the others, [...]
Interesting timing for my first post.
Ahmed at TechSoapBox has reported that CSSVault.com was sold to HostGator for one hundred thousand dollars. Not a bad deal for the seller. CSS Vault has a PR of 9 and an Alexa rank of 22214 at the time of writing – so this could be a good buy for [...]
